Museum Studies Practicum/Internship
The MUSE minor practicum requirement can be satisfied by an internship at the Picker Art Gallery or Longyear Museum of Anthropology during the academic year or over the summer, or at any other suitable museum over the summer. Students who wish to fulfill this requirement at an off-campus institution must discuss their plans with, and get approval from, the director of the Museum Studies Program in advance.

Colgate’s Upstate Institute: The Upstate Institute fosters connections between Colgate University and the regional community to engage students, faculty, staff and residents through scholarly collaborations that support our Upstate region.
Colgate’s Summer Field School Fellows: Summer Field School Fellows work with a community, government, or non-profit partner to create and complete research projects that will have a positive impact on the Upstate region.
