If you have ever pondered these questions, join the Department of Philosophy. With a dozen faculty and more than 100 students, the department is one of strongest disciplines at Colgate. Because of its size, the department is able to offer a wide range of courses that cover the breadth of the discipline and its historical roots.
The department offers a major and a minor in philosophy and a joint philosophy and religion major.
