Gift of $25M Will Build Benton Center for Creativity and Innovation, Support Third-Century Plan
Daniel Benton ’80, P’10, H’10 has secured his place as Colgate’s most generous benefactor, making a $25 million gift in support of the University’s Middle Campus Plan for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation and other elements within The Third-Century Plan.

As the world locked down, Vani Kanoria ’22 pivoted summer plans. Instead of working on campus, Kanoria worked with Professor Ahmet Ay on their project — a computer model of cellular functions — virtually, from her home in Kolkata, India.
