Colgate was founded on the generosity of 13 men who gave 13 dollars and 13 prayers. Today, the University still thrives on the dedication of its loving ones.

Over the past 200 years, Colgate has continued to ascend, thanks to the support of alumni, families, and friends. As the University pursues the bold ambitions of its Third-Century Plan, the worldwide Colgate community will — as always — play an essential role. Your gifts to Colgate enable the ascent of this great University and its students. As we seek to deliver greater affordability, equity, and inclusion, more resources mean more students of promise and achievement can access a Colgate education.
