Off-Campus Study — Mathematics

Colgate study groups and approved programs allow students to explore different curricula and to learn from the global community of mathematicians while becoming familiar with another country and its culture. Each offering provides opportunities for majors and minors to earn elective transfer credit.

Colgate Study Groups

Colgate’s off-campus study office offers full-semester off-campus study opportunities all over the world. In these programs, students travel, live, and learn while immersed in the culture of their temporary homes. While students are free to choose any group that interests them, study groups that have attracted students majoring or minoring mathematics in mathematics include:

Australia, Wollongong (offered in Fall and Spring semesters)
England, Manchester
Singapore, National University of Singapore Exchange
Wales, Cardiff

Approved Programs

As a university, Colgate is directly affiliated with several other off-campus study programs which supplement a mathematics major. In particular, mathematics students have taken interest in the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program.
