Training
Safe Zone
Safe Zone Training is a two-hour long workshop that provides an educational environment to learn about and discuss sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ topics through a system-focused lens. Attendees should come with an open mind and a willingness to engage with their own privilege and oppressed identities with the goal of expanding not only individual understanding of systemic oppression but how we as a community can work to dismantle it.
Registration is required as space is limited. Email Lyosha Gorshkov at agorshkov@colgate.edu for more information and to schedule a training.
Additional Training Sessions
Additional training sessions include:
- Sex, Sexuality, and Identity: Unicorns in Your Closet
- Trans*, Intersex, and Non-Binary Experiences
- Leadership, Sexuality, and Invisible Identities
