International Health Insurance
Colgate contracts with Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) to offer health insurance and assistance to students, staff, and faculty on Colgate's study groups and extended study programs. Students on approved programs will be covered as well under CISI if the provider's insurance does not meet Colgate's requirements. Typically, insurance coverage is included with most approved program providers.
Individuals working through CISI's network of contracted physicians worldwide generally have no up-front costs or co-pays for covered medical care. CISI additionally provides coverage for:
- medical evacuation
- prescription medication
- and many other health-related emergency expenses
More detailed information on the coverage provided, how to sign up for online access to CISI resources once you have received your insurance card, and other details can be found in the plan brochure.
