Description: The Colgate network is a complex system providing access to local Colgate resources as well as a gateway to the internet. Access is provided to these resources through a Colgate network account that can be used log onto computers across campus, as well as our wired and wireless network connections.

Description: In order to meet Colgate University's business and academic needs, user accounts may be temporarily granted to individuals seeking access to Colgate University resources who are not currently students, staff, or faculty. These "sponsored" accounts may be provisioned for a variety of reasons, including contractors and vendors who assist in managing university resources, volunteers, faculty or student guests, external research affiliates, and others.
