Chamber Players
The Colgate Chamber Players is a group of dedicated musicians passionate about playing the great works of chamber music, from Mozart and Beethoven to Bartok and Schoenberg, in an intimate, friendly setting.
University Orchestra
The Colgate University Orchestra follows a distinctive model in which professional musicians and students work side by side, always communicating, learning from, and teaching each other. The orchestra performs two concerts per semester.

Events
The Department of Music at Colgate holds a number of events each semester, ranging from concerts and performances to lectures and discussions. In recent years, guest artists have included Juilliard Baroque, Silkroad, and Harlem String Quartet.
Private Lessons
The music department offers 30-minute and one-hour weekly lessons.
Music Groups
From instrumental to vocal ensembles, Colgate hosts music groups for a variety of disciplines. Music ensembles are open to all students.
