Accommodations
The Colgate Writers Conference is pleased to offer comfortable, convenient on-campus housing, as well as the option to upgrade for an additional fee to a nearby stay at Hotel One75. Room and board are included in the conference fee for attendees staying in on-campus housing.
On-Campus Housing: Jane Pinchin Hall and Stillman Hall
Conference housing is available in Jane Pinchin and Stillman Halls. Both options place attendees within easy walking distance of conference workshops, readings, and other events, creating an immersive campus experience.
Please note that both Jane Pinchin Hall and Stillman Hall are undergraduate residence halls, offering clean, functional, and welcoming accommodations typical of college dormitory living.
Jane Pinchin Hall
Pinchin Hall features standard double-occupancy rooms and shared bathroom facilities, including two communal, gender-designated bathrooms on each residential floor, and all-gender bathrooms on the ground, second, third, and fourth floors. Each room is furnished with a dresser, wardrobe, extra-long twin bed, desk, and desk chair.
Stillman Hall
Stillman Hall offers a mix of accommodations, including suite-style living with double rooms, as well as a limited number of standard double and single rooms. Each residential floor includes two communal, gender-designated bathrooms, with an all-gender bathroom located on the first floor. Each room is furnished with a dresser, wardrobe or closet, and an extra-long twin bed (which may be bunked depending on the space), while suite common areas include a desk and desk chair.
