Out students are involved in various activities within the department and across campus. Below are some of the organizations students have established through which they work towards building community of students with shared interests in physics, astronomy, or engineering.

Formerly known as the Physics Club, Colgate University Society of Physics Students (CUSPS) is a chapter of a national organization - Society of Physics Students (SPS). The organization is open to all students with some interest in physics and hence draws interest from students interested in Physics, Astronomy, Astrogeophysics, Chemistry, and Engineering.
