Employee Incident Report

Employee work-related accidents, injuries, and illnesses shall be reported as soon as practicably possible.

Colgate University's online employee incident reporting provides automated notification to Human Resources, staff supervisor(s), and Environmental Health and Safety to ensure employees the best care, work coverage, and corrective safety actions if necessary.

Occupational Health and Safety

In addition to meeting regulatory compliance requirements, the Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is dedicated to providing a safe work environment for all faculty, staff, and students.
 

The Colgate University occupational safety program is based on occupational hazard assessments, associated injury prevention programs, and health and safety training for the entire university community. 

Radiation Safety

The Radiation Safety Program ensures that all use of radioactive materials and radiation producing equipment is conducted in a safe manner in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
