The Radiation Safety Program ensures that all use of radioactive materials and radiation producing equipment is conducted in a safe manner in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Radiation Safety Manual

Colgate University's Radiation Safety Manual is an overview of radiation safety policies for all individuals who work with or in the vicinity of radioactive materials or radiation producing equipment. These policies and procedures have been developed to maintain individual and collective doses as low as reasonably achievable, and to ensure that all activities are being conducted safely, and in accordance with NRC and NYS Department of Health regulations and the conditions of the Colgate University Radioactive Materials License.
