Spring 2023 Sigma Delta Pi, Chapter Lambda Xi, Induction Ceremony

On Thursday, March 2, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and the Hispanic Honor Society, Chapter Lambda Xi of Sigma Delta Pi, welcomed its new members: Easter Aguilar, Anna Gianneschi, Sinaí Trejo, Jadan Hand, Abby Knight, Sydney Lovro, Gretchen Mueller, Neil Nejame, and Archie Rook. The induction ceremony was led by the 2022–2023 chapter officers: Hannah Burgess (co-president), Emma Silverman (co-president), Isabella Málaga (vice president), Brianna Botello (secretary), and Ashley Orozco (social media chair).

This event  honors those who attain excellence in the study of the Spanish language and in the study of the literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking peoples. The Hispanic Honor Society thanks the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and the director of the Keck Center, Cory Douclos, for their support in the ceremony.
