Minor Requirements
Students who minor in economics must complete a minimum of five (5) economics courses. The requirements are as follows:
Required Courses
- ECON 151 - Introduction to Economics
- ECON 251 - Intermediate Microeconomics with grade of C or better
- ECON 252 - Intermediate Macroeconomics with grade of C or better
Electives
- Two additional ECON courses
- At least one elective must be at the 300-level
- ECON 105 may NOT be counted toward the minor
Additional Stipulations
- A minimum grade of C is required for ECON 251 and ECON 252.
- Satisfactory completion of the minor requires a minimum GPA of 2.00 in the five economics courses.
- To be eligible to declare, a student must have first earned a grade of C or better in either ECON 251 or ECON 252.
