For many Colgate students and professors, breaks offer a chance to travel and learn. Join professors Lesleigh Cushing and Eliza Kent on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. for a brown bag lunch featuring their travels over winter break.

Colgate athletes aren’t the only teams that bring home trophies. The Debate Society has had a triumphant season, and this weekend, we will cheer them on as they set out to bring home yet another trophy after competing in the Northeast Regionals at Western Connecticut College.

Colgate University Twitter social media interns Ally Macey ’14 and Jackie Oshry ’14 interviewed Ken Baker ’92, former stand-out goalie on the hockey team. He’s the author of the upcoming book How I Got Skinny, Famous, and Fell Madly in Love, due out in April.

From fun activities to thought-provoking lectures, there’s plenty going on at Colgate this week! Here’s a few events to check out. While it’s not surprising that accounts of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have emerged as contradicting narratives of the violent events as told by historians from different parties, they still raise questions regarding historians’ motivations.
