Colgate Career Services kicked off 2022 with its annual SophoMORE Connections program, January 21–22.

One vital element of a Colgate education is access to award-winning Career Services support. More than 230 second-year students leveraged that access during the University’s annual SophoMORE Connections event, which was held virtually, January 5–19. 

Oct. 19–23, Career Services hosted Career Exploration Week, a large-scale virtual program connecting more than 500 current students with 575 alumni volunteers.

Colgate faithful in New York City gathered at the Paley Center for Media last month to hear from five innovative alumni leaders about their work and their thoughts related to the University’s development of a new Middle Campus Plan for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation outlined in The Third-Century Plan.

Nearly 500 Colgate sophomores and 130 alumni gathered on campus in January for Sophomore Connections, a two-day program featuring alumni panels, networking events, and workshops.

The second year of the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Colgate kicked off in early January with 40 students returning to campus. They participated in more than two weeks of intensive programming designed to prepare for internships and careers, while building connections among students, alumni, and top-ranked Tuck faculty.

For nearly three decades, Colgate University’s Jim P. Manzi ’73 Fellowship has provided a pathway for more than 300 students to pursue nonprofit summer internships in the Boston area.
