Hosting Summer Programs at Colgate
Every summer, thousands of people descend upon Colgate University and Hamilton, N.Y., for a variety of rich, engaging activities, including arts and sports camps for children and young adults, conferences, and weddings.
Additionally, the village hosts nearly 300 Colgate students for research projects, volunteer work, summer employment, and the OUS Summer Institute. More than 2,000 alumni return for Reunion and other programs, and more than 2,500 potential students visit the University with their families.
Community
Colgate engages with its community by welcoming area residents to take part in campus activities, hosting summer camps and conferences, and conducting research to benefit Upstate New York.
