Who to Contact About a Concern

As a student, faculty or staff member, you have options when it comes to reporting. Colgate encourages the reporting of any concerns related to sexual assault and harassment, discrimination and/or bias-motivated acts or behavior, so they can be addressed in a timely manner.

You are not alone and there are members of the campus and outside communities that are available to support you throughout the process from reporting, to investigation, and on to a criminal trial or on campus hearing.

It’s important to note, at the start of this letter, that the initiatives under the Third-Century Plan are quite wide-ranging; touching, as they do, every corner of Colgate’s enterprise. Several of these initiatives, such as the build out of the Middle Campus, will take years to complete.

Advisory and Planning Committee

This committee is concerned with institution-wide planning at the University. It meets regularly to confer about the implementation of existing institutional plans, to examine issues of long-term planning, and to advise the President on matters of importance to the university community. A faculty member chosen by the faculty members of the committee reports to the Faculty at least once a year.

The membership of the Committee is as follows:

FAMIS, the work order system Colgate has used for more than 20 years, is aging and out of date. Throughout the past year, a multi-departmental team has been working on the implementation of a more modern alternative. The new system is based on TMA Systems software and will be called GateWorks. It will go live in mid-March of this year.
