Community Partners

The COVE partners with over 50 nonprofit and municipal partners each year through student volunteer teams, trips, and other service programs. Many of our partners work directly in our local communities in Madison, Chenango, and Oneida Counties. Nonprofit and service-based agencies can reach out to the COVE with inquiries for one-time events or long-term projects.

High School Seminars

Each year since 1959, Colgate has given area high school students a taste of the college experience. Faculty and administrators teach four sessions, meeting for three classes each, during the academic year.

The university’s mission is to provide a demanding, expansive educational experience to a select group of diverse, talented, intellectually sophisticated students who are capable of challenging themselves, their peers, and their teachers in a setting that brings together living and learning.

Clubs & Organizations

With hundreds of student clubs and organizations, students are free to explore their passions while discovering new ones.

Welcoming Communities

Whether it is a campus cultural group, a dance group, a service organization, a team, or a fraternity or sorority, joining a student organization is one of the key ways that Colgate students meet one another. Through shared interests, activities, and time, students form bonds and communities that carry them through their four years on campus, and often through a lifetime of friendship.
