As your high school graduation comes to a close and your summer begins we have a few reminders of upcoming deadlines. If you are unsure whether you have completed any of these items, your personalized new student checklist will have the most up-to-date timeline and links for your reference.
Pre-Orientation - Due June 4 (today!)
Reserve a spot in a Wilderness Adventure or another pre-orientation program by completing the registration form. Learn more about the optional and required programs by visiting the pre-orientation webpage.
Language Placement Testing - Due June 11 (if applicable)
Based on your responses in the Language Background Form, you will receive information about required language placement testing in your Colgate email. If you have questions about this process, please contact the W.M Keck Language Center.
Housing Preference Form - Due June 11
To begin the housing assignment process for the 2025-26 academic year, please login to your Colgate Housing Portal to complete your housing preference form. Our Office of Residential Life has prepared this move-in guide to help you plan ahead for your arrival. You will receive your housing and roommate information at the end of July.
Vaccination and Health History Information - Due July 9
Colgate University requires all new students to complete and submit vaccination and health history information by July 9. This information is necessary to comply with University and New York state requirements and helps us direct your health care during your time at Colgate. You can find and complete all of the requirements at the Wellness Portal.
Fall Course Registration - Coming Soon!
You will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar in mid-June with directions on how to submit your Colgate Academic Preferences and Experiences (CAPE) form and information regarding the fall course schedule process.
