While at Colgate, I’ve really enjoyed taking classes on religion, psychology, and languages, as well as rock climbing and tutoring for the SAT in my free time. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello! I’m an English major (creative writing emphasis) and film studies minor, so I have experience in both creative and analytical writing for texts and media. Papers for courses I’ve taken like psychology, educational studies, and Core classes like Legacies are fair game as well! I’m from Boston (the suburbs though) but on campus I’m a CL at 113 Broad. In addition, I write for the Maroon News and I’m involved with Christian life on campus. I would love to work with you for whatever your writing needs may be!

On campus I also work at the Office of Admission, dance in a dance group, and have leadership positions within Women in Computer Science, my sorority, and the Colgate Jewish Union. I love to read, write, and do a variety of performing arts as well! My editing skills stem from helping my younger sister and friends with their various essays, so I’ve worked with all sorts of different writers before. Hello, I’m an English/creative writing major and French minor from Boston, MA. I came to Colgate uncertain of what I wanted to do, so I’ve taken classes in neuro, psych, econ, and comp sci in addition to English and French. Whatever kind of paper you’re writing, I’ll be happy to read it. I focus a lot on strengthening a paper in terms of clarity and support of its main ideas, but I’ll help you with flow and readability, too. I love learning about basically anything. Outside of writing, I love to bike, hike, dance, travel, eat, and discover new music. Hope to see you soon at the Writing Center!
Hi! I am an art history major and political science minor originally from Los Angeles, CA. My family recently relocated to Nashville, TN, so I have now lived on the West Coast, East Coast, and in the South. I am more than happy to help with all stages of the writing process—from brainstorming responses to a challenging prompt, to doing a last minute check on a final draft. I come from a family of professional writers, so reading and writing have always been a big part of my life. The majority of my academic writing experience is in the humanities and social sciences, but I will also gladly help with assignments outside of my general field of study.
Hi! I’m a biology and creative writing double major, so I’ve taken a pretty large variety of classes so far. I’m from a little town on Long Island called Oyster Bay, which is more popularly known for being the home of Billy Joel and Sagamore Hill (our only two claims to fame). I am on the varsity women’s lacrosse team here, and I also write for the Maroon News. I love that I have the opportunity to help people from so many different disciplines during their writing processes now that I’m working at the Writing and Speaking Center. If you plan on stopping by for an appointment, be sure to look me up on the schedule, I’m happy to help!
Hello! I am a double major in English and history but have dabbled in other fields as well. I live in Houston, TX and aspire to become an environmental policy maker in the near future. My interests involve environmental justice, writing, traveling and animals (petting them mostly). I love to learn so I don't mind helping out with papers in fields that I might not be so acquainted with. My specialty is helping with organization, argumentation, and the flow of thought across your paper. As always, I am more than happy to help anyone in their journey to becoming a better writer.
Hey! I’m an English literature major and political science minor from New York City. I have no idea what job I hope to get after college but I’m sure it will be associated with writing and very unrelated to the STEM disciplines. I grew up in New York City so Hamilton was definitely a bit of an adjustment. While my academic interests are tied to philosophy, religion and sociology, I love reading papers that teach me about topics I haven't covered in class.

Growing up I always aspired to become a famous author, and although this is no longer the case, I still love creative writing. Most of my experience is in writing humanities and social sciences papers, but I’m certainly happy to edit work from any academic discipline. I look forward to working with you!
Hey y’all! I’m an English and philosophy double major from the scorching city of Phoenix, AZ. I have experience writing and editing in all academic disciplines, but I’m most practiced in the humanities and social sciences. No matter where you are in the writing process, I can’t wait to hear from you and read about the ideas you have to share.
Hey future client! I was born and raised in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, a suburb near Philadelphia. Fun fact: I love the show Seinfeld. Hello there, my name is Minh Khue (you can call me MK for short) and I am an economics and computer science double major from Hanoi, Vietnam (also known as the land of “pho” and egg coffee). I applied to become a writing consultant because the position allows me to engage with new people and their ideas in a way that casual daily interactions do not. Although I do focus on my majors, I am curious about almost everything under the sun and would like to take this opportunity to learn a bit more from you guys about the various disciplines that are offered on campus. That being said, I have a lot more experience with literary analysis essays and social sciences research papers than I do with other kinds of writing. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, and discovering new indie movies. I am excited to meet and work with you all!

Outside of classes, I tutor high school students preparing for their SATs, and really enjoy hiking, music, and art. I look forward to working with you and your writing!
