Colgate’s spring 2025 Presidential Speaker Series launched on Jan. 23 with a Q&A session led by President Brian Casey featuring New York Times opinion writer Bret Stephens and former Chronicle of Higher Education senior writer Goldie Blumenstyk ’79.

Former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile and former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele kicked off Colgate’s Road to the White House series on Sept. 4.

Colgate’s academic community will come together for moments of learning and civic engagement this month during The Road to the White House: Colgate’s 2024 Election Series, presented by the Office of the President and the Lampert Institute for Civic and Global Affairs.

Consortium members encourage students across the United States to uphold free expression, civil discourse, and critical inquiry as essential civic and academic norms.

The talk, moderated by President Brian W. Casey, was the fourth installment of the spring Presidential Speaker Series.
