A message from President Casey about the importance of voting

I write to thank you for your support and participation in our efforts this academic year. I also want to provide you with an update from Colgate’s campus.

Weekend in-person activities including tennis , lawn games, and outdoor movie night.

I write with updates from campus as Colgate moves into Gate 2 of its reopening plan.

I write with further updates from campus, where we have just begun our third week of in-classroom instruction this semester.

Tomorrow morning, Sept. 8, Colgate will move from Gate 0 (universal quarantine) to Gate 1.

With the first week of universal quarantine drawing to a close, I wanted to update you on the news from campus.

This weekend, Colgate University and the Village of Hamilton will welcome students back for a new academic year. This annual tradition takes place at an extraordinary moment, and I write with what I expect to be the first of many community updates during the fall 2020 semester.

The Task Force on Reopening has developed a series of phases or Gates, to establish the ways in which Colgate will seek to maintain health and safety as we progress through this semester.
