She enjoys writing, building Legos, playing video games, and spending time with her husband, Joshua, and cats Nebula “Nebbie” and Malcomb.
Dennis Hoover began on May 4, 2026, as a capital project manager. Dennis received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He was previously employed as a senior facilities engineer/capital projects manager for Norwich Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He enjoys traveling, coaching little league, gardening, construction/renovations, and spending time with his wife, Heidi, five children, and animals (cats, chickens, and ducks).
Sarah “Sadie” Johnson began on May 11, 2026, as an assistant to the office of the dean of the faculty. Sadie enjoys caring for, riding, and showing horses, crochet and color, and spending time with her partner, Shawn; as well as her horses Fergus, Gatsby, and Seamus; dogs Levi, Luna, and Millie, and cat, Drake.
Kylie Laurenitis began on May 4, 2026, as a gift officer for athletics fundraising. Kylie received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Springfield College. She was previously employed as an associate director of the Deerfield Fund at Deerfield Academy. She enjoys running, shooting hoops, listening to country music/Bluegrass, hosting summer gatherings/BBQs with friends, and spending time with her friends, husband Anthony, daughter Annie, son Rudy, and golden retrievers Honey and Maple.
Devin Messina began on May 18, 2026, as the greenhouse superintendent. Devin received her dual bachelor’s degrees in horticulture (with emphasis in production horticulture and environmental landscaping) and golf and sports turfgrass management from the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She was previously employed as a greenhouse technician at Chenier’s Greenhouse and substitute teaching for middle/high school. She enjoys reading, thrifting, cooking, swimming, hiking/walking, road trips, being in the sun, tending to her houseplants, and mentoring robotics programs.
Daniel Moore began on May 4, 2026, as a mail clerk. Daniel received his BA in cinema from Binghamton University. He enjoys record collecting, DJing, and motorsports (Formula 1 and endurance racing).
Ryan Parise began on April 6, 2026, as a custodian. Ryan was previously employed as a vendor relations specialist at Legacy Group. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and two children. When he does find time alone, he enjoys playing guitar, watching hockey (especially the New York Islanders), and working on his fantasy novel that has been a goal of his to complete since he was a young kid.
Gareth Terrett began on April 14, 2026, as the head coach for field hockey. Gareth received his BA (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton, and GTP from Cambridge University. He was previously employed as an assistant coach of field hockey at Cornell. He enjoys watching and playing sports.
Kurt Wright began on April 27, 2026, as an assistant director of alumni career engagement programming. Kurt received his BA from Colgate, his MS in accounting from NYU Stern School of Business, and MBA from Columbia University Business School. He was previously CEO at Quadrant Real Estate Advisors. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his wife, Anne, and daughter Jillian.
