“We are extremely proud of each of these employees and their continued effort to advance Colgate's sustainability goals, as highlighted in our Third-Century Plan,” says John Pumilio, director of sustainability. “It's inspiring to witness the Passport Program's continued growth and the sense of community it fosters among individuals from various departments and programs, united in their pursuit of shared campus goals and beliefs.”

The Sustainability Passport Program strives to advance a culture of sustainability at Colgate by offering and supporting engaging educational programming for employees. The program is administered through Colgate’s Sustainability Office, responsible for supporting opportunities for employees to learn more about sustainability, and promoting pro-environmental behaviors on campus. Employees register for sessions of their choice, earning credits for each program they participate in. Generally, one hour of programming will equal one credit earned, and the Office of Sustainability tracks each employee’s participation over time.
