Open date: Summer housing begins in May, when residence halls close to non-graduating students, as noted on the academic calendar.
Close date: Students will be billed for the dates they stay on campus until the day prior to their expected arrival date as listed on the Colgate academic calendar.
Students who do not have a housing assignment for the following Fall semester will be required to move out during the week of August 4. Exact dates to be disclosed at the time of receiving your summer housing agreement.
The dates above represent the earliest and latest dates during which students may reside in the Summer Housing Program. Students do not need to reside on campus for the full summer; however, preference will be given to students based on the length of their on-campus stay.
Students apply for summer housing based on the number of nights they need to stay.
