From Friday, Sept. 23, to Saturday, Sept. 24, Colgate hosted campus community members and alumni for a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance Center.

Colgate University welcomed alumni for two reunion weekends this month, reviving the tradition last enjoyed on campus during the Bicentennial Reunion of 2019.

The Colgate community came together for a weekend celebration honoring the 50th anniversary of coeducation.

Changes to Colgate’s Student Health Services this academic year will increase clinical care availability on campus while also bolstering sports-medicine support for Division I athletes, student club teams, and intramurals.

Colgate University’s 17th annual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Week, Jan. 23–Feb. 1, kicked off with a keynote address by Wanjiku “Wawa” Gatheru, a Rhodes Scholar and environmental justice activist.

Colgate will host a new speaker series for the spring semester titled The University and the Public Good: The Role of the American College in Our Time, sponsored by the Office of the President.

For the Colgate Debate Society, international competition offers an intellectual challenge and the chance to build connections.

Colgate’s annual MLK Celebration will be held from January 23 to February 1, 2025, and feature a keynote address by Wanjiku “Wawa” Gatheru.

The Nov. 11 event marking the one-year anniversary of the switch from the Southern-Madison Ambulance Corps (SOMAC) to Madison County EMS.
