The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs has named Colgate University as one of the nation’s top producers of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for the 2018–2019 academic year.

Since the University’s Summer Funding initiative was founded in 2013, more than $3 million has been utilized by Colgate students pursuing various summer programs worldwide.

Some of Colgate University’s newest students will soon make their home in the University’s newest buildings. A highlight of these impressive structures that bring together living and learning: concerted, sustainable construction practices and planning.

When 13 students journeyed across the pond to start their fall 2018 semester abroad in Manchester, few of them had an interest in immigration or the refugee crisis. Once immersed in their classwork, however, they quickly united to stand for human rights in the region.

Robert H.N. Ho ’56, H’11 has been appointed Member to the Order of Canada (C.M.), one of that country’s highest civilian honors.
