Update on Professor Bob Turner's scholarly activities

In December, Bob Turner presented an invited paper, “Plastic Pollution in the Ocean: The Impacts of Visual Information and Text on Beliefs, Attitudes, and Expected Behaviours,” at the (virtual) 2020 International Symposium on Water, Ecology and Environment in Beijing. The paper will be published in early 2021.

In January, Bob and his co-author Christine Moskell prepared their paper “Can a YouTube Video Lead to Changes in Environmental Beliefs, Attitudes, Norms, and Behavior?” for a special issue of the Journal of Environmental Studies and Sciences honoring Monty Hempel. Also in January, Bob was invited to be interviewed about his work on the impact of environmental art for a documentary associated with the Enviro-Art Gallery, an initiative of Duke University.

In March, he will present his paper  “Heterogeneous Non-Use Values for Arches and Zion National Parks” at the Western Economic Association International Virtual International Conference.
