Colgate University welcomed the Class of 2026 to campus on Sunday, Aug. 21. With 817 members, this is the most selective and academically accomplished class in the history of the institution — formed from the largest applicant pool ever seen by the University.

On this season’s premiere episode of 13, Colgate’s Senior Director of Communications and Parent Initiatives Rebecca A. Downing, talks about the University’s resources for parents to help their students transition to college. 

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Colgate University Bookstore opening its doors in downtown Hamilton following a lengthy renovation that transformed a dilapidated building into the village’s retail anchor. 

Visitors to the Village of Hamilton will have a new lodging option starting on Aug. 15, as the newly refurbished Hotel One75 will open its doors at 175 Utica Street.
