Colgate University’s William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of Geography and Environmental Studies Emerita Ellen Percy Kraly was honored by the Center for Migration Studies at its 2025 Academic and Policy Symposium in New York City.

Activist Fredrika Newton, president and co-founder of the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation, will deliver Colgate’s 2026 MLK Celebration Keynote Address. The celebration’s opening ceremony and keynote address set the tone for a week of learning, dialogue, and collective action grounded in community, empathy and justice.

Mr. Robert Hung Ngai Ho ’56, H’11, C.M., O.B.C., passed away peacefully in Vancouver, Canada, on Nov. 30, 2025, at the age of 93.
