While most people know that Colgate’s undergraduate population has become increasingly international, it may come as a surprise that so many young people, in their formative middle school and high school years, travel across oceans to come to campus.

While many institutions are making significant cuts in their instructional teaching programs, Colgate plans to add five more teaching positions next year and also convert six visiting-faculty positions to tenure stream.

Hamilton will be abuzz with award-winning filmmakers and stars when the Hamilton International Film Festival returns to the village from Aug 5-8.
