Professor Maureen Hays-Mitchell’s last class of her Colgate career was on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 1:20 to 2:35 p.m. in Ho 328.
After the class, she was met with flowers and champagne. She taught for 30 years, reaching nearly 2,700 students, and graded enough papers to fill a number of file cabinets. The Department of Geography has appreciated her for the service, friendship, and guidance she has given to both us and her students.
