I was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up just outside of it. I attended the University of Rochester and graduated with a B.S. in chemistry in 2018. I then pursued organic chemistry at Baylor University under the tutelage of Prof. John Wood where my research focused on the synthesis of complex natural products. Upon earning my Ph.D., I moved to California to complete a post-doc at Caltech. In 2023, I moved back to central NY to begin teaching general and organic chemistry. I am passionate about the field of organic synthesis and exploring novel chemical methodologies.
