She has performed as a member of the St. Louis Municipal Opera Orchestra, the Springfield (IL) Symphony, the Gateway Festival Orchestra (St. Louis), Ithaca Opera Orchestra, and SATI: A Group for Contemporary Music. She has also been a soloist at the Composers' Forum in New York City.

She is the Manager and Principal Flute in the Colgate University Orchestra.

Laura Campbell is the Instructor of Flute at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY and principal flutist and personnel manager of the Colgate University Orchestra. She is also the director of Chamber Music at Wells College in Aurora, NY, where she conducts the Chamber Orchestra and Jazz Band. In addition, she performs as second flutist in the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes and is a performing member of Music's Recreation in Ithaca, NY and the Finger Lakes Flutes. A strong proponent of contemporary music, Laura has performed several times as a soloist and chamber musician in New York City at the Composer's Forum, New York Women Composer's Circle, and at The American Society of Composers Conference. She has also been a soloist at the Southeast Composers Conference in Radford, Virginia, SEAMUS in Salt Lake City, Utah and a chamber musician at the "June in Buffalo" new music festival.

Laura has performed with many orchestras in the Midwest and New York, including the St. Louis Municipal Opera Orchestra, Gateway Festival Orchestra, Springfield Symphony, Ithaca Opera, Utica Symphony, and Catskill Symphony, as well as touring six countries in Latin America with a wind ensemble under a U.S. State Department Good Will Tour, and touring France and Switzerland with the Central New York Orchestra.

Laura can be heard on several CDs: "Morning Light" music for flute and harp with Myra Kovary, "Visions" music by Laurie Conrad for flute and harp with Myra Kovary, "Classical Music for Guitar" with Karl Wolff, guitarist, "Baroque Music for Guitar" with Karl Wolff, "Pinocchio" by Michael Gandolfi with the  Syracuse Society for New Music, "Mark Volker: Elemental Forces" with interactive computer, "Evocations" from Capstone Records - "Windrider: Final Assent," and chamber music for flute and strings and piano by Laurie Conrad, "Images" and "Unsung Songs: Songs of the Earth," and "Glimpses" for solo flute and piano.
