Group exercise classes in the ’Gate Fitness program are open to those at all levels of fitness, from beginners to advanced — everybody fits.

The fitness classes in the ’Gate Fitness program are open to all Colgate students, faculty, and staff and Trudy Fitness Center members.

Members of the Colgate community are encouraged to explore virtual recreation and wellness opportunities.

’Gate Fitness classes run during each academic semester as allowed. Fall 2021 dates:  Sept 7–Dec 10 (No Classes during Fall Break 10/8 - 12 and Thanksgiving Week)  Class Schedule

Students may earn hours toward their Wellness Passport PE credit by attending the classes below.   Students are responsible for registering for the Wellness Passport on the PE registration and for checking in at each class to ensure their time is recorded on theie getinvolve.colgate.edu account.

Physical Education Program

Colgate's curriculum includes a physical education requirement. Consistent, documented participation in ’Gate Fitness classes may count toward the physical education graduation requirement as part of the Wellness Passport.
