Orientation Schedule
Each Commons has its own Orientation schedule available for students in the Colgate Portal. Before you arrive on campus, download the Colgate Portal app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to keep your schedule handy on the go.
What to Expect
New Student Orientation prepares students to begin their college experience. At Orientation you will:
Get acquainted with their roommates, classmates, and staff of their Residential Commons
Develop a sense of home in their residence halls
Become familiar with the campus
Be welcomed into Colgate’s community of scholars at Founders’ Day Convocation
