Upcoming Maintenance
The ITS Infrastructure and Services team staff members will be performing maintenance in July. The following items are currently scheduled.
July 1–3, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Wireless Infrastructure Update
There will be a brief 10–15 minute disruption in wireless connectivity while equipment is upgraded.
July 9, from 5 to 7 a.m.
Internet Router Reconfiguration
We will be reconfiguring the internet router to support new IPv6 address allocations. There may be brief interruptions to internet connectivity while the work is ongoing.
July 11, from 1 to 4 a.m.
Network Firewall Software Update
We will be performing software updates on our campus network firewalls. There is no expected impact on Internet or network availability during this maintenance.
July 11
We will prompt users to update the GlobalProtect VPN software to the latest version. You will be prompted to update the software before connecting to the VPN. This update will become mandatory in the future to connect to the VPN service.
July 16, from 5 to 7 a.m.
Voice Router Firmware Upgrade
This software provides a connection to the telephone system outside of the University. Ongoing calls going outside of the University may be disconnected when the specific router the call is on is rebooted.
July 23–24, from 5 to 7 a.m.
Internet Firmware Router Update
