Kalyn “Kay” Mariah Banks began on Sept.14, 2026, as an assistant women’s basketball coach. Kay received her bachelors in psychology from Randolph College and her masters in clinical mental health counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana. She was previously employed as a graduate assistant at Xavier University. She enjoys working out and collecting perfumes.
Leah Brockway began on June 22, 2026, as an administrative department coordinator in residential life. Leah received her BFA in visual communications. She was previously employed as a parish administrator and family ministries staff member at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. She enjoys dance, as an instructor and dancer, painting, scrapbook journaling, iced coffees and spending time with her husband Christopher, and children Drew, Elise, Cillian, and Iris.
Stephanie Crain began on June 1, 2026, as university museums outreach coordinator. Stephanie attended the University of Akron. She was previously employed as an environmental educator at Great Swamp Conservancy. She enjoys photography, animals, environmental conservation, traveling, trail walks, outdoor activities-kayaking, mountain biking, museums and is a self-proclaimed foodie, and enjoys spending time with her husband Jason, and cats, Frosty and Keleti.
Zack Dean began on Sept. 21, 2026, as a philanthropic officer. Zack received his bachelors in public relations from Lee University and his masters in strategic communication and leadership from Maryville University. He was previously employed as an associate director of major gifts at Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys Broadway theater, Stonewall Sports (queer adult sports league in Pittsburgh, playing bocce, kickball, dodgeball, and volleyball), reading romantasy, sci-fi, and thriller books, traveling, is a big Taylor Swift fan, and spending time with his partner, Noah, and their three dogs, Ghost, Bella, and Gigi, and four cats, Ellie, Nymeria, Summer, and Percy. They also have two saltwater fish tanks.
Hailey Dobbins began on July 15, 2026, as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach. Hailey received her BS in business economics from SUNY Cortland and her MBA in marketing from Linwood University. She was previously employed as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Old Dominion University. She enjoys skiing, traveling, hiking, puzzling, reading, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, Montreal Canadians, Boston Celtics, NY Yankees, and spending time with her partner Carter, and dogs Paisley, Auggie, and Winnie.
C.J. Eick began on July 16, 2026, as an assistant men’s ice hockey coach. C.J. received his bachelor’s degree in sports and fitness management from Michigan Technological University. He was previously employed as an assistant hockey coach with the Waterloo Black Hawks in Iowa. He enjoys playing guitar, music, and spending time with his wife Alexa, and children Charley and Lucy.
Heather Farrell began on Aug. 31, 2026, as an assistant women’s ice hockey coach. Heather attended Ohio State University. She was previously employed as an acting head coach at Syracuse University. She enjoys playing sports, watching sports, traveling, hanging with good friends, eating good food, and spending time with her children and wife, Patty.
Kassandra “Kass” Garcia began on Sept. 14, 2026, as an assistant director of alumni engagement for affinity, identity, and regional programs. Kass received her associates of science from Herkimer County Community College and her bachelors in communications, with a minor in computer science, from Pace University. She was previously employed as development and marketing manager at United Way of the Mohawk Valley. She is a huge foodie, enjoys baking and cooking at home with family, she is passionate about giving back through community projects like food distributions, media/event production, and local cleanups. She also enjoys exploring local historic landmarks and scenic places, going to the gym, arts and crafts, video games, movies, and spending time with her partner Andres and cat, Bet, and dog, Matcha.
Brooke Hofsass began on July 13, 2026, as an assistant field hockey coach. Brooke attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. She was previously employed as an assistant field hockey coach at Penn State Harrisburg. She enjoys playing pickleball, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with her dog Motley.
Jesse Jensen began on July 13, 2026, as academic department coordinator for history and peace and conflict studies. Jesse attended Ithaca College. He was previously employed as a script coordinator for various TV shows and sometimes a TV writer. He enjoys film, television, food, politics, technology, hiking, and spending time with his wife Emma, son Roan, and dog Eska.
Mike Kelley began on July 20, 2026, as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He received his BS in exercise science from Slippery Rock University and his MS in sports science from the University of Pittsburgh. He was previously employed as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys cooking, hiking, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She was previously employed as a center for student wellness graduate assistant at Boston College and orientation and student onboarding graduate assistant at Bentley University. She enjoys reading, writing, axe throwing, rail biking, traveling, and making jewelry.
Brian Leyva Ramirez began on July 13, 2026, as a student operations manager and training coordinator in ITS. Brian is a 2026 graduate of Colgate University. He was previously employed as a student manager in ITS. He enjoys films, movies, 3D printing, boxing, science-fiction novels, tech, pc gaming, and volunteering.
