Community Partners

The COVE houses roughly 40 volunteer teams doing consistent service during the academic year with more than 30 local community partners. Eight-hundred students volunteer in the local community, traveling to Oneida, Utica, Morrisville, Madison and Sherburne as well as working right here in Hamilton. Community partners can reach out for extra help, either for a one-day or long-term project.

Each year, while they move off campus, the COVE encourages students to donate unwanted items to local non-profit organizations. Faculty, staff and students work together to collect and sort these items in Starr rink to be collected by those organizations. Last year, the COVE distributed more than $60,000 worth of items to the local community. Reach out to Erin Childers-Loranty at to get involved in this program.
