Amanda Stewart graduated from the State University of New York College at Buffalo with a B.A. in Public Communication in 2009 and Canisius College (Buffalo) with a M.S. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration in 2011. Her passion for student affairs began as an undergraduate student where she was a resident assistant in Residential Life. In graduate school her interests expanded to academic support and mentoring, federal TRiO Programs, campus ministry, and financial aid. She served as a financial aid counselor for five years at both the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and Utica College. Amanda came to Colgate in 2016 where she worked for the programs of Peace and Conflict Studies, Africana and Latin American Studies, and Native American Studies.
