Enterprise CarShare makes it easy to rent vehicles right on campus at affordable hourly or daily rates—with fuel included. Whether you’re a student, faculty, or staff member, you can reserve a car for personal use whenever you need it.
Drive with Enterprise Carshare
- Open to all qualified students, faculty, and staff with a @colgate.edu email address.
- Must be 18+ years of age to be eligible for Enterprise Carshare membership.
- Join for a yearly $10 membership and access driving rates starting from $7/hr and $56/day, depending on model, day of the week, and time of day. Parking, gas, and insurance included. (Additional restrictions, taxes, and fees may apply). View the rates and fees for the complete payment structure.
- Accepts licenses from all over the world with an International Driver’s Permit.
- Must have a valid major credit card in your name.
Pick-up and Drop-off Locations
CarShare vehicles must be picked up and dropped off at the 100 Hamilton Street lot. Look for the Enterprise CarShare signs!
How Does Enterprise CarShare Work?
- Join: Become an Enterprise CarShare member, and pay the required fees. Once approved, you’ll be prompted to download the Enterprise Carshare app.
- Reserve: Login, select the vehicle you want, and specify how long you'll need it. With the Enterprise mobile app, you can reserve vehicles on the go.
- Unlock and Go: Confirm the start of your reservation in the Enterprise Carshare mobile app, and the vehicle will unlock. The keys will be waiting for you inside.
- Return: Return the vehicle at the end of your reservation and complete your rental in the app. The doors will lock, and your rental has ended.
- Cancellation Policy: You will be subject to Enterprise’s cancellation policy.
