Office of Residential Life

Our goal is to further the educational mission of Colgate by extending student learning and growth into our residential community, promoting a purposeful and inclusive environment through shared expectation.

Students studying at their desks in a first-year suite.

Our Goals

  • We promote healthy, safe, and inclusive communities where individual members are valued and respected.
  • We foster personal growth and success through a purposeful residential experience.
  • We challenge and support students in making meaningful and responsible contributions to society.

Event Management Update

The Dean of the College division is working to develop a new event registration process. A working group has formed to finalize policies and procedures with the goal to have the new process in place for fall 2013. In the interim, we have converted our current registration process from paper to online. Should you have any questions about the current or future process, contact Brenda Ice, Director of Residential Life at bice@colgate.edu or 315-228-7367.
