The Colgate University Facilities Department provides the physical environment, utilities, and facilities support services necessary to promote the educational and research activities of the University. To ensure quality service to the University community, the Facilities Department provides strong coordination and communications between multi-functional groups and our customers. Training and the development of self-directed work teams promotes a work environment that encourages employee initiative and development. The Facilities Department strives to be a customer oriented department. With every project, the University continues to learn more about the synergies of team collaboration. Every facility is the result of an intense collaborative process within and among their teams. Bringing together the individual’s dreams, knowledge, philosophies, and experiences of each team member, these talents are aggregated to produce a single result - a campus that will inspire and support collaboration within a multitude of realms.
