The Max Kade German Center in Lawrence Hall (campus map
) serves the department both as a seminar room and as a common room.

We also maintain an ongoing relationship with the University of Freiburg. As a result of this partnership, each year we host native German speakers from Freiburg in residence at the center to assist students.
The German department shares the Keck Humanities Resource Center in Lawrence Hall (campus map
) with the other humanities departments. It is here that we have German audio recordings, videos, and computer exercises available for language laboratory work. There are also 26 multimedia workstations for foreign language learning and other humanities applications.
