I hope that you have had at least one moment to catch your breath since Friday.
All reports indicate that we were able to reduce large gatherings last weekend, and results of testing received to-date show no new cases of COVID-19 on campus. These results will help the Health Analytics Team make a recommendation on our move to Gate 3, when they meet tomorrow afternoon. Thank you.
High on the HAT agenda tomorrow, along with a review of the metrics, is a need to tailor Gate 3 guidelines to changing state regulations and the present level of infection. Current guidelines were drafted in December and January. Had they been written two weeks ago, they would still need a close review before implementation. Once this is done, I will report back quickly.

Employees, the HAT has implemented a confirmation email for completion of the health screening. If you do not receive the email indicating your health screening for the day is complete, please take it again to ensure that it is registered. Also confirm that your on-campus work calendar accurately reflects your work status on days when you fill out your screening.
While the University awaits delivery of COVID-19 vaccine, Community Memorial Hospital is distributing doses to individuals in New York State phases 1A and 1B. If you are eligible, you can sign up for an appointment time at clinics held tomorrow or Wednesday.
Following up after last week’s message regarding incident reporting: please note that the form to report violations of the Commitment to Community Health has been — and will continue to be — available for your use. Anonymous reports of commitment violations may not be acted upon due to our inability to substantiate information or clarify circumstances. However, you are encouraged to report incidents whether or not you choose to include your name. Even if you sign the report, this information will be kept private from those identified in the violation.
On March 11, ITS will make campus network changes that will allow for further integration of new high-speed network equipment into campus data centers. Maintenance will occur during off-peak hours, 4–6:30 a.m., and is not expected to impact the network significantly.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day. The Colgate Women’s Leadership Forum (WoLF) would like to recognize all those who identify as women on campus for getting up every day and doing amazing work in — and beyond — these difficult times.
