Informational interviews with a senior admission intern, Colgate alumnus, or an admission officer allow you to learn more about Colgate in a one-on-one setting. This is not a formal assessment that affects the outcome of an application to Colgate; we want to hear about your interests and goals and to answer your questions about academic and student life.
Interviews are available from May of a student's junior year through December of a student's senior year. Students may not interview multiple times.
We offer three ways to interview: on campus
, regionally with an alumnus, or virtually
. Virtual interviews are reserved for students who cannot make it to campus and who do not have the ability to meet for an alumni interview, such as international students or students in rural locations. If you are visiting campus, or live in an area where you can sit for an interview with an alumnus, we ask that you do not register for a virtual interview. Email your regional admission officer
to determine if an alumni interview is available in your area.
Regardless of how your choose to interview, please register at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability.
