Lawrence Hall

The classics department's home is in Lawrence Hall, on Colgate's main academic quad (campus map). Classrooms throughout the building are used for instruction.

W.H. Gifford Classics Center

The W.H. Gifford Classics Center, located on the first floor of Lawrence Hall, is the premier room for instruction in the discipline. It houses the Classics Library, a vast collection of classical texts, and information on antiquity supplementing the materials in our main campus libraries.

W.M. Keck Humanities Resource Center

In 2013 the Humanities Lounge and W.M. Keck Humanities Resource Center were both renovated. Leveraging state-of-the-art technology, the resource center functions as a language lab for students across departments to explore languages and cultures.
