New Residence Halls

Living-learning the Colgate way: spaces for collaboration, intellectual exploration, and student-faculty engagement.
Architect's sketch of one of the proposed new residence halls.
Two new residence halls — constructed of native stone and totaling 84,862 square feet — will reflect Colgate’s historic architectural vernacular, and their placement will create an additional gathering quad.

Each 100-bed facility features three upper floors of double rooms, four-resident suites, and study lounges. The first floors and ground levels will be dedicated to seminar rooms, classrooms, offices, and social lounges.

This project was designed adhering to LEED Silver sustainability standards.
